Grade (education) - A grade in education can mean either a teacher's evaluation of a student's work or a student's level of educational progress, usually one grade per year (often denoted by an ordinal number, such as the "3rd Grade" or the "12th Grade"). This article is about evaluation of students' work and various systems used in different countries.
Grade inflation - In education, grade inflation occurs where a certain grade comes to represent a lower level of student performance than is indicated by the grade, in situations where student performance is determined by some fixed, non-grade form of assessment.
